Epic Energy was acquired by Hastings Funds Management on the 2nd June 2004. The acquisition included the following pipeline assets.

Epic Energy's corporate office is located in Melbourne, at the Reserve Bank Building, 60 Collins Street, Melbourne.

Epic Energy's end use gas transportation customers are generally base load electricity generators, gas distribution companies and industrial gas users. They include AGL, Origin Energy, Santos, Energex, OneSteel and BHPB.
